In 2026, I proposed and took charge of the Parkview store’s Facebook page. This expanded my creative role beyond the department floor. My work included content planning, seasonal campaigns, collaborating across teams and with Kowalski’s executives, and taking product photos. I also worked on hands-on visual projects, such as seasonal decor. For the exterior, I added chalk art for events to connect with online posts.
Throughout it all, it has always been about making the store and social media feel intentional. My aim: a welcoming experience worth returning to.

Over five years at Kowalski's Markets in the deli, I progressed from slicing at the counter to preparing food as a chef. My eye for in-store visual merchandising grew through my work with food. This included presentation, packaging, deli salad layout, panini display, preparing hot foods for the bars, and keeping displays both inviting and sales-focused.

Each Kowalski's Market location has a volunteer overseeing social media. In 2026, I volunteered for Parkview. After pitching my vision and speaking with the head of marketing, I took over the page. My main principle: stay loyal to the brand. My experience with the brand and efforts to understand its values shaped my approach before I volunteered or posted.
Since taking over Parkview's socials, I have created a posting schedule that matches the brand's rhythm. The results have been deeply gratifying. I am proud of my work with Kowalski’s marketing leadership and grateful for the opportunity.

The Summer Garden in the Parkview cafe, is my most recent project, one of the first visual moments guests encounter upon entering the store. Each flower was individually designed, cut, and assembled by hand, and eventually installed to create a layered, larger-than-life garden that brings bright summer energy to the space, complementing Kowalski’s ‘The Joy of Good Food’ signage with an organic, yet artistic touch.

The Summer Flower Wall is my most recent project at Parkview and one of the first visual moments guests encounter upon entering the store. Each flower was individually designed, cut, and assembled by hand before being installed to create a layered, larger-than-life garden. The result brings bright summer energy to the space while complementing Kowalski’s ‘The Joy of Good Food’ signage with an organic, yet artistic touch.

Created exterior chalk art for Kowalski’s Markets Parkview during the Celebrate Summer Event, paired with a promotional poster shared on company Facebook pages. This work was recognized by Kowalski’s owner and CEO, highlighting my store-level initiative and brand alignment on Parkview's social media.

For Kowalski’s Markets' Cinco de Mango event, I enhanced the Parkview store's exterior and promoted it on the company's Facebook pages. My chalk art was part of a creative initiative that earned recognition from Kowalski’s owner and CEO, highlighting the value of location-specific, handmade touches within a large brand.

For Kowalski’s Markets Parkview Easter Event, I designed and installed a paper flower installation on the cafe's front wall, which helped create a lasting spring atmosphere and received positive feedback from customers and the store manager. I also contributed to other elements of the event to create a cohesive experience. Specifically, I worked on the event setup by designing and printing station signage for the cookie-decorating area, a jellybean-counting game, and a coloring activity.
